By purchasing, enrolling in, or accessing any ASSESS+ training, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use this website or any associated course materials. By using the site or service, you agree to these terms and conditions, without modification, and acknowledge reading them.

Who operates ASSESS+ ?

ASSESS+™ – Advanced Clinical Assessment for Counsellors is operated by Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky, Psy.D., RCC, RTC, CT, and affiliated educators.
All content is created for professional development purposes only and is not intended as medical, psychological, or legal advice. Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky and any of her relevant associates make no representation or warranty that the information provided, regardless of its source ("the Content"), is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error free. Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky dislaims all liability for any inaccuracy, error, or incompleteness of "the Content".

Who can take these courses?

ASSESS+ courses are designed for:

Registered or qualifying counsellors or psychotherapists whose practices are governed by an applicable counselling college or association with stated standards of practice and practice oversight.

You are responsible for ensuring that course participation aligns with your local licensing, scope-of-practice, and continuing-education requirements. You must not, in the use of this Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

Educational and Non-Clinical Disclaimer

The ASSESS+ training programs provide educational content for professional learning. They do not constitute clinical supervision, therapy, diagnosis, or client-specific consultation.

Completion of an ASSESS+ course does not grant any independent diagnostic or advanced practice authority, nor replace clinical judgment, regulatory approval, or professional licensing standards or processes.

Important: Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky, ASSESS+, and any affiliated facilitators or organizations shall not be held liable for how course participants interpret, apply, or communicate the training material in professional or client contexts.

Liability and Indemnification

By using this website or enrolling in any ASSESS+ course, you expressly agree that:

You assume full responsibility for any actions, decisions, or outcomes resulting from your participation.
Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky, ASSESS+, its affiliates, contractors, instructors, or partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
- Use or misuse of course materials
- Reliance on training content for client care, assessment, or diagnosis
- Technical issues, data loss, or platform downtime

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ASSESS+ and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or liabilities related to your use of the Services.

Intellectual Property

All ASSESS+ content—including videos, slides, manuals, digital downloads, workbooks, and assessments—is protected by Canadian copyright and intellectual-property laws.

You may:

Access course materials for personal educational use only, through the educational hosting area of the drerinntraining.com members page of our site, for a specified period of time (8 weeks).

You may not:

Reproduce, distribute, resell, or share ASSESS+ materials without prior written permission from Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky.
Record, redistribute, or publicly display any portion of the course content.

Violations may result in immediate suspension of access and legal action.

Payment, Refunds, and Access

You agree to be financially responsible for all purchases made by you or by someone else on behalf of you through the site.
You agree to use the site and make purchases through the site for legitimate, non-commercial purposes.
All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) with tax included unless otherwise stated.
Payment is due in full at registration
Course access is typically granted through drerinntraining.com through the members learning portal.
Refunds are granted only if requested in writing by email within 24 hours of purchase and prior to educational platform login information is provided to you.
No refunds will be issued after that point.
Should you contest the course fee (in part of whole) with your card issuer/bank, you will immediately lose access to the site and will not receive a signed certificate of completion.

Certificates and Continuing Education

Upon successful completion, participants receive a digital certificate of completion.
It is the participant’s responsibility to confirm whether ASSESS+ training qualifies for continuing-education recognition within their jurisdiction or association.

Technology and Platform Use

Users are responsible for maintaining compatible hardware, internet access, and software to participate in ASSESS+ online learning.
We are not responsible for interruptions, outages, or data loss due to third-party platforms (e.g.,Wix, Square, Gmail, etc).

Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information is collected and managed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].
By enrolling, you consent to the collection and secure processing of your data for course administration, payment, and certification purposes.

Modifications and Updates

ASSESS+ reserves the right to modify course content, prices, or these Terms at any time without prior notice.
The latest version will always be available on this website. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any updates.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

Updates to Terms

Dr. Erinn Bailey-Sawatzky and drerinntraining.com reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The most updated terms will be published on our website.

Lawful Purposes

You shall not post or transmit through the site any material that violates or infringes on the rights of others, or which is threatening, abusive, defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane, or otherwise objectionable or that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.

Refusal of Service

The content services are offered subject to our acceptance of your orders or requests. We reserve the right to refuse service to any order, person or entity, without the obligation to assign reason for doing so. No order is deemed accepted by us until payment has been processed. We may at any time change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the site or service, subject to us fulfilling our previous responsibilities to you based on acceptance of your payment.
